Week 11 Learning

Along with our Literacy and Maths this week we have been doing a rotation. Within this rotation we have been learning about the brain, planning a healthy menu for our shared lunch next term and painting autumn trees. Check it out....

Here we are making hats which show all the different parts of our brain...

Within this video Bradley is talking about what he is planning for the healthy shared lunch...

Supermarket Hunters

Day 1
Chloe from the Heart Foundation welcomed us to the Food for Thought Programme on Wednesday 30th March 2016. Chloe taught us about the food pyramid and what kind of foods to eat; Everyday foods, sometimes foods and occasional foods.

Day 2
On this day Chloe taught us how to use nutrition labels on the back of packaged foods. We looked at the best breakfast to have and we found out that Wheatbix and Rolled Oats was the best breakfast you can have.

Day 3
We went to the supermarket and studied the nutritional information on food labels to find everyday and occasional foods which we recorded on a sheet.

We had heaps of fun and learned a lot! Thanks so much Chloe you were amazing!
